Build looks good. Design suspiciously similar to one Canon remote commander. Allows manual flash control, so may be used off-camera with a dumb remote trigger (not included), something the Nikon's SB-400 can't.Manual control supposedly in 1/3 stop steps from 1/128 to 1/1. Unfortunately the steps are not even. GN 32??? In practice, max power seems to be obviously more than the pop-up flash of D90 but less than the SB-400. Specified 6 sec recycling seems realistic (eneloop).Flash head does not tilt nor swivel (have a ladies mirror with you). Supports one TTL exposure mode for Nikon iTTL. Feels like plain TTL, but the exposure is erratic and requires a lot of fiddling with compensation, presumably due to the uneven power steps. Still decent value while the $47 offer lasts if you need a small flash with manual power adjustment, for macro etc. http://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/3478600
