I am very happy with the build quality of this battery adapter - it seems to be well enough constructed to last a long time, and I am glad I can use AA batteries with this camera in a pinch if needed.

When carrying the camera with kit lens and a camera bag with telephoto, lens hood, spare batteries, a spare memory card , the bag can get heavy pretty quickly. Although the battery pack adds a very little weight, it means that i don't have to worry about the battery power, especially if using the flash a lot or having to review many shots.
