When this unit arrived I was amazed at the build quality. Although not as solid as the Nikon branded item, I was more than impressed! The unit works really well and is a great buy, particularly at this price. Why pay an extra 200 - 300 dollars for a Nikon branded one!!!! Thinking about it?....Get it!

Grip received as ordered very close to the original. No problem setting up. Works without battery or batteries. I had a problem of rapid discharge of the battery from the device and a malfunction of the camera extincton. The problem disappears when removing the grip. Maybe a malfunction passage.

The grip feels like original. I agree with those who say about very decent product.
For me the downside is a material - a cheap plastic, and as result - a broken handle of AA Battery Holder.
The reversed dials for me is not a problem, their material too.
Great deal for this price.

Found this item to be very good in fit and finish. there is a slight wiggle/flex between battery and body but everything feels secure. selected battery - AA due to availability and cost.

The original wrist price is is prohibitive! the only downside is the fact that the jog dials work on reverse, it is an excellent buy for a bargain!

great value for money works well reasonable construction quality for the price.The ONLY downside is that the dial controls work in the opposite direction to the camera dials in thier default mode.

The grip feels "natural" once attached, although it does add to the heft of the camera rather considerably, especially when the battery holder is loaded with six AAs. The use of rechargeable batteries is a most welcome feature.
