PRODUCT INFORMATION

The item you purchased is a Pro Battery Grip for the Canon 7D camera. It can hold 6 AA batteries or two LP-E6 li-ion batteries, doubling the battery capacity of your camera. Vertical shutter release button on the Battery Grip makes shooting with the camera in a vertical position much easier, adding stability to the camera. Beware that the batteries should be put into the magazine before inserting the magazine into the grip!

In this professional edition, it comes with several functional buttons as the flash above showing. It will be much convenient while using. It provides additional shutter release, main dial, AE lock and AF point selection controls for easier vertical shooting. Having the same function as Canon BG-E7!

It would be difficult to get more for the money. It's really good in general. If I had to say something negative I would say that the 6AA battery holder it´s a little bit rough and fits a little tight in the grip, but it doesn't seem to be something to worry about.

Wouldn't own a camera without a battery pack. Had one on my 20D and now on my 7D. Provides a good feel to the camera. It does add a significant amount of weight, but I am used to it from my 7D and shooting a Mamiya 645...good solid mount and feel.
