i purchased this battery grip for my Nikon D90 and it looks as close to the Nikon grip as you can get without paying the extra cash for the Nikon brand. This baby does exactly what it says it will do perfomancce wise.

Buy the Nikon grip and you'll be happier .I recommend it to anyone looking for just the ergonomic factor, given the affordable price.

As others have mentioned, the grip seems solidly constructed and mates perfectly with the D80.I've gotta say, I was very pleasantly surprised. The grip actually makes the camera easier for me to handle. And, since I often keep a speedlite attached, the added weight makes a great counterbalance.

ny hands are big and by attaching this battery pack i can really feel comfortable with this camera(nikon d80)
