The item you purchased is a Pro Battery Grip for Canon EOS 5D Mark II BG-E6. The canon eos 5d mark ii battery grip can hold 6 AA batteries or two LP-E6 li-ion batteries, doubling the battery capacity of your camera. Vertical shutter release button on the Battery Grip makes shooting with the camera in a vertical position much easier, adding stability to the camera.

In this professional edition, it comes with several functional buttons as the flash above showing. It will be much convenient while using. It provides additional shutter release, main dial, AE lock/FE lock and AF point selection controls for easier vertical shooting. Having the same function as Canon BG-E6!

 

Note: The battery grip BG-E4 for the previous EOS 5D is not compatible with the new EOS 5D Mark II camera

Muy contento el Grip se ve firme y muy bien echo y con buen acabado.... está muy bien conseguido igual que el original. Por otro lado las baterias van perfectas al tener chip y poderse comunicar con la cámara tanto indicación de bateria, disparos de fotos como poder cargalas en el cargador original. Muyyyyy contento!! lo recomiendo y el ahorro es increible respecto al original.

Lo que se ve en la imagen y lo que pone en la descripción es lo que me ha llegado a casa, las baterías son con chip por lo que se cargan perfectamente en el cargador original y la cámara las reconoce sin problemas y el grip está muy bien echo y tiene un tacto muy bueno.

I was a little nervous about buying a cheap Canon copy for my 5d II, however, I am very impressed with the battery grip and think it offers very good value for money.

The quality is very good too and matches the camera well, most importantly it performs very well and is easy to install and use.

2 months of using on 5D Mark II and no problems at all.
included batteries are charged every time with original Canon charger!
all OK!!
for that price, plus 2 batteries included... even if you are hobby photographer, you will not regret it! Must have!

absolutely one of the best items I have purch. to this date..
everything works as in the real canon BG.
included with 2 1400 batteries, a slide for 6AA batteries.
maybe no as solid as the original.... but gooood enough.
worth every penny..
