I was Very surprised with this item, it is so versitile, easy to fit, and produces such a GR8 picture with hte external flash. I would recommend whoever purchases htis diffuser box has a good item in there camera bag.

Although very good and does what it was supposed to, the picture is a bit misleading. I was quite surprised when I found out it's inflatable, which might make you look a bit silly outside. However this make it very portable and easy to store and use and I think it's very good for indoor strobist stuff when you are in need of softer light. I also think it's good when you have no other alternative

I bought one of these to keep in my camera bag not sure if I'd ever use it. I got asked to be a shooter at a wedding a couple of weeks ago and was very glad I had this in the bag. Who care if you look a little silly blowing it up. It works as advertised and stores in almost no space at all.

It depends, if you want to look great then go ahead and spend $50 and up, and the end result will be the same as with this thing.
If you want great results and do not care how you look inflating and carrying this diffuser around, this diffuser is for you.
Works great, makes soft diffused light from your flash.
Best used in portraits.

I think that it functions well, and it does diffuse light enough to be considered affective. If your looking at this product in conjunction with a flashgun, just get it, you will find reasons to use it for sure.

Wanted to give this zero stars for crap - but the feedback system required that I give at least 1 star!rnrnThe advertised product shows a nice white diffuse cover with a velco strap - what I received was a blow-up translucent inflatable covering with a tacky pull cord to hold it tight to the flashgun. The actual resulting effect is very marginal - seems to result in a slight more contrasty image but given that the covering looks like an inflatable toy stuck onto the flashgun this is not something I will use!rnDefintely regret buying this.
