andribay from Italy Registed User Posted On Tuesday, 27 December 2011 Got it yesterday, a pretty good quality lens. Even if it said to be for Nikon, its just the bare canon model plus an adapter. I can use it on my D90 without the adapter, but sadly no ttl metering. I'm a bit unhappy about this, but... 25€ shipped, who cares. Turn the light on, measure exposure, shoot. done.
Quality is kinda good, the mounting rings are plastic but pretty resistant, they don't look like to degrade too much over time.
Light output varies depending on battery charge, at full charge (AA NiMH @ 1.46V) the flash draws about 1A (5.5W), when the batteries are a bit dimmed down it goes to 3W (0.6A). Not a big problem btw, light output will be still pretty enough for most macro uses. 1/64 to 1/2 modes are done via PWM, and the unit emits a low level high pitch sound during operation. pretty normal I think. I'm happy I've bought this flash.

The lighting is good and although manual has several options to play with the intensity of light. The shipping was fast (Spain) and arrived undamaged. I am very happy with the transaction.

Immediately I fix it in my Nikon 3100 and Tamron 18-200 Set up without seeing the manual. It is very easy to use with very good number of facilities. Build (Plastic) quality is little bit cheap but with its price it is more than sufficient. I am very much satisfied with this item. Thank Linkdelight for this very usefull but very cheap product.
