PRODUCT INFORMATION

The AF Macro Extension Tube Set can transform your Lens into a Macro Lens. It moves the lens from the film or digital sensor. The closer the focus is, the greater the magnification. The Nikon extension tube does not affect image quality as there is no optics inside. In comparison, a close up filter is often blamed for degrading the quality of image.

This Nikon AF tube set contains three piece tubes of different length -- 12mm, 20mm, and 36 mm -- which can be used individually or in any combination to obtain the desired magnification. These extension tubes are designed with all the circuitry and mechanical coupling to maintain auto focus and TTL auto exposure with most Nikon lenses, given there is enough light to activate the cameras AF system properly.

It is a very good and decent item, to use it some knowledge about photography is required. Build quality is also very good. It is a very cheap replacement of highly costly Macro Lens if properly used.

Sometimes it's the small, cheap things which make a difference - a 5c washer to keep something fixed, a $2 carabiner which saves your camera from certain destruction when it falls. These extn rings are in that category - simple, cheap & uncomplicated, but giving that small edge to imaging and closeup work vital to any commercial photographer. With the electronic contacts, shooting couldn't be easier & quicker.
