At this low price, it was a great way to check out the use of extension tubes. The tubes seem well built and connect easily to the body and lens. The only serious drawback for me is the lack of aperture control. You have to set the aperture before inserting the tubes and can't adjust aperture while the tubes are connected. If I decide to continue using extension tubes, I will purchase a set with electronic circuitry for AF, flash and aperture.

I recently bought a NIKON D3100 and couldn't help but look for accessories for it. I came across this website, saw the macro lens, saw the price and straight away I bought it. I was impressed by how this tube works (I was under the impression that there were actual lenses) and how well the photos turn out. The only drawback it that there is no aperture control at all on my DSLR kit lens, and because the tube separates the lens from the camera body, the aperture can not be adjusted which can be very irritating and difficult in anything but broad daylight, direct light or flash. This problem would be overcome by using an SLR film camera lens.

I have bought this Extension Tube Macro Ring for my Nikon D5000. It works very well. The build quality is good. The photos came out well. I was stuck with panic when I was unable to open my lens from this tube. The instruction sheet with the item is not thorough. Later found out that u need to pull the small knob towards the camera (and not press it) to dislogde the lens from the tube!

This was a part of a purchase to see if linkdelight was a good online shop, i have to say i've never had a package arrive faster from hongkong as it did with this company. Ontop of this i was expecting this extension tube set to be plastic but its a really nice metal! works like a charm! surpassed my expectations, if your fooling around with macro or just got a new dslr and dont want to shell out 160 for a set of kenko tubes simply to be able to meter (and autofocus) then get these you wont regret it.
