The AF Macro Extension Tube Set can transform your Lens into a Macro Lens. It moves the lens from the film or digital sensor. The closer the focus is, the greater the magnification. The Canon extension tube does not affect image quality as there is no optics inside. In comparison, a close up filter is often blamed for degrading the quality of image.

 

This Canon AF tube set contains three piece tubes of different length -- 13mm, 21mm, and 31 mm -- which can be used individually or in any combination to obtain the desired magnification. These extension tubes are designed with all the circuitry and mechanical coupling to maintain auto focus and TTL auto exposure with most Canon lenses, given there is enough light to activate the cameras AF system properly.

When I ordered this I was a little reluctant about the product but I took a chance (mostly due to the price). I purchase the aluminium version (I think is a plastic version too) and this is amazing. I use it with a Canon 7D, nice built quality, release button looks a little weird but is functional.

Muy indicado para los que quieran hacer Macro Video-foto. Yo lo utilizo con una 550D y un Sigma 18-200. Control total del autofocus y del diafragma. Creo que para ser un tubo no deja de ser un poco caro pero viendo los precios que rondan por ahí, no está mal. La construccion en metal es buena, mi única pega es la unión entre tubos, es como muy rígida y parece que va a romper, pero por ahora sólo es una impresión y no hay queja.

5/5 all the way. Does what it says, well built for the price. Not going to use them everyday, so no need to spend double the price locally. Money well spent!
