I've been using them for pro-video interviews and events and the fact that they are AA battery powered, cool, with a great light-ouput has been convenient and useful. The battery status checker and smooth dimmer are great features. Also I was most pleased with the continuous output of the light from 6 newly recharged batteries - over two hours and more to go…. The diffuser and incandescent filters are solid and work well.
My only complaint is the fact that the units do not have a light-stand screw, though it is simple enough to find a work-around. You can't-go wrong with the 160 LED light units especially at this price.
