Oloong TTL Flash Speedlite SP-690 is designed for almost Nikon Cameras. It features TTL function and will work on Nikon i-TTL mode. Large LCD panel user interface with super firm metal hotshot stand. Worth owning one!!

  • 1. Flash Mode: I-TTL, M, S1, S2
  • 2. Flash control: TTL auto flash or manual level 22 light quantity output control
  • 3. Recycling Time: approx 2s (AA Ni-MH cell used), approx 5s (AA alkaline cell used)
  • 4. Auto Zoom: Flash light tube will move forward and backward with the changes of lens focus to suit different illumination zones (available on supporting i-TTL camera; not support full camera system)
  • 5. Using Built-in Wide-angle Panel: when the distance between the cameras and an subject is less than approx.2m, you can take more natural-looking close-up picture using the wide panel
  • 6. Using Built-in White reflection Card: when shoot portrait, draw the reflection card out from the light head, and produce a highlighted point on the eyes to make the eyes charming; the function can reach optimal effect when the flasher head is up 90°
  • 7. Front-curtain/Rear-curtain Sync (in normal flash photography, when shooting fast-moving subject at slow shutter speeds, please use rear-curtain sync, a moving subject will spear with such moving marks behind)
  • 8. FV Lock
  • 9. AF Assist Beam Emitter: Under the low light condition or in the dark place, AF assist light will automatically emit the red colored beam and illuminate the subjuect to achieve accurate focusing
  • 10. Sound Monitor (details pls see user manual)
  • 11. Exposure Bracketing (FEB): Access to the camera menu to set the exposure bracketing function, it can help you to improve the success rate of photography.
  • 12. Overheating Protection: When the controller is used too frequently, its overheating protection function will be triggered, and the controller will be locked. Please turn off for 10 minutes to let it cool down
  • 13. Advanced Wireless Flash: can use as a master or slave unit of optical slave to create flash group

Great speedlight for the price. Although the TTL doesn't work off camera, the controls are easy to understand and the flash works really well. The cycle time is fantastic especially with NiMH batteries installed. The contact feels a little flimsy, but overall it appears to be a well built (especially for the price) unit. The case is an extra bonus and fits the stand and a diffuser if you purchase one as well (Diffuser in the bottom of the case upside down). All in all, I am very pleased and will be purchasing another.
