I use this primarily for macro photography, so range is not an issue. It attaches easily to my D5100 (not too tight) and is perfect for my needs. Shipping from Hong Kong took about 10 days - faster than I expected.

I bought this to use with a Nikon D7000, to fire the shutter in the mirror-up position, for long exposure shots. It works very well. The build quality is good but needs careful handling. The range is good and it fulfills all my requirements.

Overall very good build quality. Penalized for cheap batteries. I used it once and now four months later the transmitter battery 23A reads 10v...should be 12v Order extra batteries. Chinese made batteries tend not to last...prob because they skimp on the active materials.

Very useful for wireless shooting. I have an receiver fitting issue into the camera, Linkdelight replaced the receiver but not yet received, expecting very soon.
Those who are interested in photography it is an essential device for them. Recommend to buy this great device.

I purchased this for my Nikon D 90, which has an IR remote, but that's not omnidirectional.
The unit works fine. It's range is about 100 meters as long as the view is unobstructed; walls and other objects will significantly reduce its range.
Did take a while to get here, but that was not really a problem.
The instructions are something else. After a while I could figure out what they were trying to say. Suggest they try another Chinese to English interpreter.

I've had this remote for over four months now, and I love it. Great for tripod mounted shooting, where you need your camera perfectly still. I've used this for everything from personal family portraits, to macro photography. Definitely worth every penny.

I purchased this unit for a D3100 which has no inbuilt wireless capabilities.
Despite the lack of instructions I soon worked it out.
Have tested it out using both the remote and the wired in shutter release. Both workd excellently.
One problem I had which I notice another review mentioned was that the connection into the camera is very tight. When I pulled it out the first time the metal covering or casing on the connector pulled away and jammed in the input socket in the camera. Once I got that out I found that it actually works fine (better) without the metal casing so all is good.
For the price it is a great unit and the small defect in the metal casing is no real issue.
