Not sure there is any other remote cord on the market like this one. You can set up a desired delay to start taking photos ,a desired time you want the shutter to remain open, a desired delay before the next photo is taken and the desired number of photos to take (up to several hundred).

I am a novice when it comes to long exposure photography, but for the money, the timer remote is hard to beat.
Its a sturdy piece of kit with a nice feel about it. Although my only real critism is the fact it does not have an on off switch, so I find myself having to keep taking the batteries out of the remote once I'm finished using it. I know they say the batteries last, but I'm not convinced on that one.
On the plus side of things, the remote is very easy to use and seems to work really well. So all in all, a very nice product at a great price.

question :Is it possible to use this device for autobracketing? I own a D7000 and the camera only has a 3 autobracket exposure possibility. I want to automatically make 5, 9 or more exposures without touching the camera. I would buy this remote instantly if it does! I will use the exposures for HDR photograpy.
