I would like to build a macro flash system with more pover and this set seems to be small enough so it wont add too much weight..

my idea is to use 2 canon 27o ex flashes or similar light weight flashes..

question :MK-RC7 Wireless Remote Flash Trigger for Canon 7D/5D Mark II


I received the MK-RC7 units plus two additional receiver units today. I put the batteries in, checked the channel settings, connected everything as per instructions for all the units. The transmitter green light blinks as described but the receives do nothing. No lights on receiver units or triggering any of flash units (canon 580ex II and White Lighting strobes). I checked the batteries and replaced them with new AAA's I had on hand. Still nothing. None of the receiver units (3) show any sign of life. They do not work! Please advise.
