| Step1 |
Step2 |
| |
Find a clean work area and gather the cleaning supplies |
| |
Use a brush to get the dust and dirt out of the crevaces around the buttons and swithes. |
| |
Blow the rest of the debris away.
You can clean the screen but it's a good idea to clean the surrounding area because as you start putting the screen protector on any static that it may have could attract dust particles to stick to the inside surface. |
| |
If there is a top screen on the camera, to repeat the cleaning steps on the top LCD as well. |
Step5 |
Step6 |
| |
Clean the screens!
Make sure to not leave any streaks. Once done double check you haven't left any lint on the screen.
| |
You could prefit the screen protector to check for alignment but I found the fit to be perfect! |
| |
Carefully peel the protective backing off the GGS Screen cover. Keep it underside of the screen protector face down to prevent dust from getting on it and quickly but carefully apply it to the Camera LCD. |
| |
Use the cleaning cloth to clean the GGS Screen and to also fix the adhesive. |
| Step6 |
Step8 |
| |
Here is the screen with the menus showing. You can hardly tell that there is a protector on there at all! |
| |
Repeat the steps for the TOP LCD
This one is a bit easier because the way the D300 body is formed, the LCD is recessed. This makes alignment easier. Just line up the the GGS screen protector to the inside edge of the LDD screen.
| |
Well, You can see how close the fit is.
It's amazing how thin the screen protector is.
